2010 Toyota Sienna Overview
Just because you want a minivan doesn’t mean that you can’t have a little fun with it. Not only does the 2010 Toyota Sienna offer enough seating and space for the entire family, but it boasts loads of power and enough gadgetry sure to keep you entertained.
The Sienna seats seven to eight people (depending on the seat configuration you choose) making it one of the roomiest passenger vans on the market. It comes in four trims: CE, LE, XLE, and Limited. Each trim has a 266-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 under its hood which is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. All trims receive 16-17 mpg in the city and 21-23 mpg on the freeway. Also, all models except for the CE are available in either front or all-wheel drive. The CE is only available in front-wheel drive. The Sienna competes with the Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country, Honda Odyssey, Hyundai Entourage and Nissan Quest.
On the inside of the 2010 Sienna, there are several seating configurations that make accommodating all kinds of passengers/cargo possible. The CE and LE trims feature a “Front and Center” middle seat that can move 13 inches closer to the front seats, making infants in child-safety seats more accessible. An available navigation system with rearview camera, rear DVD system with 9-inch display and sonar-based front and rear parking assist are useful touches. A JBL Synthesis AM/FM sound system with 10 speakers, 4-disc in-dash CD changer, satellite radio and Bluetooth capability are optional.
When it comes to safety, the 2010 Toyota Sienna has you covered. All trims have seat-mounted front and side curtain airbags. The driver and passenger airbags deploy in two stages to lessen trauma. The body of the van has side guard door beams and front and rear crumple zones to disperse impact in case of an accident. And, if the worst happens, the Sienna comes with an emergency fuel shut-off as standard. To further assuage any fears, the Toyota Sienna also scored five out of five stars in both the driver and front passenger NHTSA crash tests. All-disc antilock brakes, electronic stability system and traction control come standard.
Remember what it’s like to be a kid again while with the kids in the spacious, safe, powerful and fun 2010 Toyota Sienna.
