Toyota Sequoia vs. Saab 9-7X Review

The Toyota will most definitely prove handier than the 9-7X for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. There's no clear winner between the Toyota Sequoia and the Saab 9-7X regarding transporting cargo. The Toyota Sequoia outpulls the Saab by a sizeable margin.

Performance
With that kind of horsepower, both the Toyota Sequoia and the Saab are genuine sportscars. With respect to horsepower, the Toyota Sequoia packs quite a wallop and will knock the 9-7X down a few rungs. On the flip side, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Toyota Sequoia is considerably more bulky than the Saab. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Toyota Sequoia than the 9-7X because of its bigger tank. The 9-7X and the Toyota Sequoia compete for the same parking spaces. The Toyota Sequoia's longer wheelbase will result in a smoother, more stable ride; on the flip side, the Saab 9-7X may give a more maneuverable feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
The Saab 9-7X's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Toyota Sequoia.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Saab 9-7X is considerably cheaper to get to the dealership than the Toyota Sequoia. The 9-7X won't save you much money at the pump compared to the Toyota Sequoia. The Toyota Sequoia isn't much more expensive than the Saab with respect to MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Saab and the Toyota Sequoia likely handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The 9-7X's engine is a little smaller than the Toyota Sequoia's, but not terribly so. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Toyota Sequoia is considerably more powerful than the Saab 9-7X.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Saab 9-7X's front cabin compared to the Toyota Sequoia. The Saab 9-7X is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Toyota Sequoia.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Sequoia isn't quite as generous as the Saab 9-7X's.
