Toyota Sequoia vs. Infiniti FX35 Review

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Toyota Sequoia to the dealership as the FX35. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Infiniti and the Infiniti perform roughly similarly in terms of fuel economy. With respect to gas mileage, the Infiniti FX35 has the Toyota Sequoia beat. In terms of MSRP, the Sequoia costs roughly as much as the Infiniti (though the Infiniti is somewhat cheaper).

Utility
The Toyota Sequoia's more sizeable trunk will accommodate more sizeable objects than the Infiniti FX35. Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Toyota Sequoia over the Infiniti FX35. The Toyota Sequoia is a better choice than the FX35 with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of suitcases or sizeable dogs. Towing is quite a bit more the Toyota Sequoia's forte than it is the Infiniti FX35's.

Convenience
The Toyota Sequoia's fuel tank will need to be replenished somewhat more often than the unit in the Infiniti FX35.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota Sequoia offers a bit more head room than the Infiniti FX35, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Toyota Sequoia provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Infiniti FX35 does.

Dimensions
The Toyota Sequoia is markedly heavier than the Infiniti FX35. The Infiniti FX35's tank is about the same size as the Toyota Sequoia's, though the Toyota Sequoia's is a tad larger. The Toyota Sequoia rides lower than the Infiniti FX35, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Infiniti FX35 and the Toyota Sequoia compete for the same parking spaces.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Infiniti FX35 is definitely sprier than the Toyota, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Infiniti FX35's engine is markedly smaller than the Toyota Sequoia's. Note that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. The Infiniti FX35 could learn a lesson or two from the Toyota Sequoia in terms of pickup. Torque equals pickup, and the Toyota Sequoia will have picked up and gone by the time the Infiniti finally gets moving.

Overview
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Toyota Sequoia isn't quite as generous as the Infiniti FX35's.
