Toyota Sequoia vs. Chevrolet Tahoe Review

Utility
The Toyota Sequoia is a better choice than the Chevrolet regarding transporting cargo, especially if you often need to carry a lot of equipment or big dogs. The Tahoe isn't markedly handier than the Sequoia for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is markedly more the Chevrolet Tahoe's forte than it is the Toyota Sequoia's.

Dimensions
The Chevrolet Tahoe is slightly more ponderous than the Sequoia. The Chevrolet Tahoe's tank is approximately the same size as the Toyota's, though the Sequoia's is somewhat bigger. The Toyota Sequoia rides lower than the Chevrolet Tahoe, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Chevrolet and the Toyota Sequoia compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Toyota Sequoia's fuel tank will need to be replenished slightly more often than the unit in the Chevrolet.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Toyota Sequoia is tremendously cheaper to get to the dealership than the Chevrolet Tahoe. Producing an accurate gas mileage evaluation is so tough that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Chevrolet Tahoe and the Chevrolet Tahoe perform approximately comparably when it comes to fuel economy. In terms of MSRP, the Chevrolet doesn't cost much less than the Toyota Sequoia.

Handling
The Toyota and the Chevrolet Tahoe have about comparable tires. With its tighter turning radius, the Chevrolet Tahoe is doubtless more agile than the Toyota Sequoia, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Toyota Sequoia and the Chevrolet Tahoe have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Chevrolet Tahoe. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Chevrolet Tahoe isn't much more powerful than the Toyota Sequoia.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota Sequoia offers a bit more head room than the Chevrolet Tahoe, there really isn't much of a difference. The Toyota is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Chevrolet.

Overview
The Tahoe and the Toyota Sequoia have the same basic after-sale protection.
