Toyota Sequoia vs. Cadillac SRX Review

Performance
With its super low horsepower-to-weight ratio, the Cadillac SRX will knock you back into your seat when you accelerate.

Handling
The Toyota Sequoia and the Cadillac SRX have approximately similar tires. With their comparable turning circles, the Cadillac SRX and the Sequoia doubtless handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Cadillac SRX's engine is slightly smaller than the Toyota Sequoia's, but not terribly so. The Toyota has no lessons to learn with respect to pickup from the SRX.

Utility
The Toyota Sequoia is a better choice than the Cadillac SRX with respect to transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of gear or large pets. The Toyota Sequoia will very likely prove handier than the Cadillac for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is substantially more the Toyota Sequoia's forte than it is the Cadillac's.

Convenience
You'll quite certainly have to take the Cadillac for a fill-up more often than the Toyota Sequoia because of its tank size and gas mileage.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota Sequoia offers a bit more head room than the Cadillac SRX, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Cadillac SRX is not particularly roomier for your passengers than the Toyota Sequoia.

Dimensions
The Toyota Sequoia is significantly heavier than the SRX. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Toyota than the Cadillac because of its bigger tank. The Toyota rides lower than the Cadillac SRX, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Cadillac SRX and the Sequoia compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Sequoia is quite a bit cheaper to get to the dealership than the Cadillac SRX. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Cadillac SRX is the winner as far as gas mileage. The Toyota isn't much less expensive than the Cadillac SRX as far as MSRP.

Overview
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota Sequoia isn't quite as generous as the SRX's.
