Toyota RAV4 vs. Hyundai Santa Fe Review

Utility
Neither the Hyundai nor the Toyota RAV4 has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. The Hyundai Santa Fe outpulls the RAV4 by a large margin.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Hyundai Santa Fe than the Toyota because of its larger tank. The Toyota RAV4 and the Hyundai compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Toyota RAV4's fuel tank will need to be replenished a little more often than the unit in the Santa Fe.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Hyundai Santa Fe to the dealership as the Toyota RAV4. As far as gas mileage, the Toyota RAV4 is a little better than the Hyundai Santa Fe, but not by much. Producing an exact fuel economy evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Toyota RAV4 and the Toyota RAV4 perform almost similarly with respect to fuel economy. The Toyota RAV4 isn't much less pricey than the Hyundai regarding MSRP.

Handling
With their comparable turning radii, the Toyota RAV4 and the Santa Fe most definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Toyota's engine is a tad smaller than the Hyundai Santa Fe's, but not terribly so. The RAV4 has no lessons to learn when it comes to pickup from the Hyundai.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota RAV4 offers a bit more head room than the Santa Fe, there honestly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Toyota RAV4 provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Hyundai Santa Fe, there honestly isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai Santa Fe's.
