The Toyota Prius and the Saturn Aura can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Saturn packs quite a punch and will knock the Toyota Prius down a few rungs. On the other hand, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Saturn Aura than the Toyota Prius because of its larger tank. The Prius and the Saturn compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Aura than with the Prius.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Saturn Aura to the dealership as the Toyota Prius. The Toyota Prius will save you money at the pump compared to the Saturn. The Aura will tax your gas budget significantly more than the Toyota Prius will. The Toyota Prius isn't much less expensive than the Saturn Aura as far as MSRP. The Toyota Prius will save you a bundle at the pump every year compared to the Aura.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Toyota Prius is most certainly more maneuverable than the Saturn Aura, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Saturn Aura's engine is substantially bigger than the Toyota Prius's. Note that larger engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Saturn Aura is considerably more powerful than the Toyota Prius. The Saturn Aura packs quite a punch compared to the Toyota in terms of torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Saturn Aura offers a bit more head room than the Prius, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Saturn Aura offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Toyota Prius, there really isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The Saturn Aura and the Toyota have the same basic after-sale protection.
