When it comes to horsepower, the Mitsubishi packs quite a wallop and will knock the Prius down a few rungs. However, keep in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

With its tighter turning circle, the Toyota is quite certainly more maneuverable than the Galant, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the flip side, note that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

The Toyota's engine is considerably smaller than the Mitsubishi Galant's.
