Toyota Matrix vs. Suzuki SX4 Review

With their similar turning circles, the Suzuki SX4 and the Toyota Matrix most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Suzuki SX4's engine isn't much more sizeable than the Toyota Matrix's. The Toyota has no lessons to learn when it comes to torque from the Suzuki SX4.

Utility
Neither the Toyota Matrix nor the Suzuki SX4 has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity.

Convenience
The Suzuki SX4's fuel tank will need to be replenished slightly more often than the unit in the Toyota.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Toyota Matrix offers a bit more head room than the Suzuki SX4, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Toyota Matrix provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Suzuki SX4 does.

Dimensions
The Suzuki SX4's tank is approximately the same size as the Matrix's, though the Toyota Matrix's is somewhat bigger. The SX4 and the Toyota Matrix compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Suzuki SX4 to the dealership as the Toyota Matrix. In terms of gas mileage, the Suzuki SX4 is a little better than the Matrix, but not by much. Producing a precise fuel economy evaluation is so difficult that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Suzuki SX4 and the Suzuki SX4 perform about similarly regarding fuel economy. As far as MSRP, the Matrix costs substantially more than the Suzuki.

Warranty
The Suzuki and the Toyota Matrix have the same basic after-sale protection.
