Toyota Matrix vs. Kia Forte Koup Review

Neither the Toyota Matrix nor the Kia Forte Koup has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity.

Dimensions
The Toyota Matrix's tank is almost the same size as the Kia Forte Koup's, though the Forte Koup's is slightly larger. The Toyota Matrix and the Kia Forte Koup compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You will have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Toyota Matrix than with the Kia Forte Koup.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Kia to the dealership as the Toyota Matrix. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Forte Koup is somewhat more economical than the Toyota Matrix. The Matrix will tax your gasoline budget significantly more than the Kia Forte Koup will. With respect to MSRP, the Matrix costs significantly more than the Forte Koup.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Kia Forte Koup and the Toyota Matrix most definitely handle approximately the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Toyota Matrix's engine is somewhat smaller than the Kia's, but not terribly so. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Kia Forte Koup is considerably more powerful than the Toyota Matrix.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Toyota Matrix's front cabin compared to the Kia Forte Koup. The Toyota Matrix provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Kia Forte Koup does.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota Matrix isn't quite as generous as the Kia Forte Koup's.
