Toyota Overview:
Toyota boasts one of the most revolutionary cars on the road today—the Prius Hybrid. The Prius is redesigned inside and out for 2010 and receives 24 more horsepower. A solar-powered sunroof distributes electricity to an interior fan that keeps the cabin cool on hot days. Oh yeah, the Prius receives an astonishing 48 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway. Toyota’s mid-size Camry sedan receives a host of mechanical and styling tweaks as part of a mid-cycle refresh. Nose/tail/trim changes accompany a slight improvement in power for the 2010 Camry. The Camry Hybrid sedan receives the same interior/exterior tweaks, and boasts 33 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The 2010 Toyota Corolla compact sedan is also one of the most fuel-efficient cars on the road with 22-27 mpg in the city and 30-35 mpg on the highway. The Matrix compact hatchback seats five, is fuel efficient and has a surprising amount of cargo space. Value-oriented buyers will appreciate the economical Toyota Yaris. The Yaris is Toyota’s least expensive model and is available as a sedan as well as a four-door hatchback Toyota’s full-size flagship sedan, the Avalon rivals the Lexus ES 350 when it comes to luxury. The popular compact RAV4 crossover receives a Sport Appearance Package and several optional features. The retro-inspired FJ Cruiser boasts more horsepower and a new Special Edition model that is designed for rugged adventure. The midsize sporty 4Runner SUV and full-size Land Cruiser SUV are capable, stylish and feature a host of high-tech gadgetry. The Highlander SUV seats up to seven and features a four-cylinder base model making it one of the few midsize crossovers to offer that kind of power. The second-generation Highlander Hybrid SUV receives 27 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Toyota’s full-size SUV, the Sequoia is Toyota’s largest SUV, offers a choice of V-8 engines, can tow up to 10,000 pounds and seats up to eight passengers. Larger families will enjoy Toyota’s only minivan – the Sienna – which seats seven or eight passengers and boasts a variety of innovative interior options. Toyota’s muscle, the 2010 full-size Tundra pickup receives a new V-8 that provides 34 more horses, better fuel economy, safety and stereo options. The Tacoma pickup continues its off-roading prowess and infinite configurations in 2010. |
