The Toyota Highlander will most certainly prove friendlier than the Mazda Tribute Hybrid for those of you with frequent kid-cargo. The Highlander outpulls the Mazda Tribute Hybrid by a massive margin.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, the Toyota Highlander packs quite a wallop and will knock the Mazda Tribute Hybrid down a few rungs. On the flip side, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Toyota Highlander is considerably more bulky than the Mazda Tribute Hybrid. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Toyota Highlander than the Mazda Tribute Hybrid because of its bigger tank. The Tribute Hybrid and the Toyota Highlander compete for the same parking spaces.
