Toyota Corolla vs. Mitsubishi Galant Review

The Toyota Corolla and the Mitsubishi Galant can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Dimensions
The Mitsubishi Galant is tremendously heavier than the Toyota Corolla. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Galant than the Toyota Corolla because of its bigger tank. The Toyota and the Mitsubishi Galant compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll most certainly have to take the Toyota for a fill-up more often than the Mitsubishi because of its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Mitsubishi Galant to the dealership as the Toyota Corolla. The Mitsubishi Galant uses a lot of gasoline compared to the Toyota. With respect to gas mileage, the Toyota Corolla is a little better than the Galant, but not by much. The Toyota Corolla is tremendously less pricey than the Mitsubishi Galant regarding MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Toyota Corolla and the Mitsubishi Galant most certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Corolla's engine is substantially smaller than the Mitsubishi Galant's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the flip side, smaller engines are often cheaper to fix. Torque equals pickup, and the Mitsubishi will have picked up and gone by the time the Toyota Corolla finally gets moving.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Mitsubishi Galant offers a bit more head room than the Toyota Corolla, there frankly isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Mitsubishi Galant provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Toyota Corolla, there really isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota isn't quite as generous as the Mitsubishi's.
