Second time was not a charm . . . .

This was my second time purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. First time was an excellent experience. Today (4.3.18) while negotiating with the sales manager (Corey Poindexter) he was irate, rude and did not try to work with me on the price. He was argumentative and when I became frustrated and was ready to walk out of the negotiation, he yelled at me to "Go!" Not the level of professionalism and customer service you would expect from a sales manager. On a positive note, the salesman (Tracy Surrett) was attentive and pleasant to work with.

WHY has there been a drastic change, for the worst at Toyota Of Gastonia? Twice I called to ask about getting service for my car. Both times I had the displeasure of speaking to Debbie who seems to know nothing. So, I asked her to please give my name and number to the service manager...she never did. The 2nd time I called back, she put me on hold for 12 minutes. When I called back, I was informed she was clocking out. For 2 weeks I've left Chris Kosa 2 specific questions...I'm still waiting to get an answer. That's the normal now at this dealership. WHY is it so hard to get answers to questions now? I did purchase this car brand new at this dealership, I WOULDN'T recommend this dealership to anyone is you expect good service.

This would have been my 3rd purchase. I have bought a new and used vehicle here since 2015. However, this was a horrible experience and will now take my business elsewhere and would advise everyone reading this to do the same. I was looking at a used vehicle. My trade in was paid off and I was adding a significant amount of cash, so no financing involved. They would not agree to reduce a used car by less than $500 to make the deal happen and I am a repeat customer. I am very disappointed in their nonchalant demeanor and really acted like they did not care that they were losing my business. It looks like I need to find another dealership that actually cares about having repeat customers. It seems like the salespeople need to be taught customer service etiquette and customer loyalty is extremely important if they would like a paycheck. I even drove there from out of state, so it seems they don't value a customer's time either.
