When it comes to horsepower, the Subaru Legacy packs quite a punch and will knock the Toyota Camry Hybrid down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

The Subaru's engine isn't much more massive than the Toyota Camry Hybrid's. Torque equals pickup, and the Legacy will have picked up and gone by the time the Toyota Camry Hybrid finally gets moving.
