Toyota Camry Hybrid vs. Saturn Aura Review

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Camry Hybrid is quite certainly nimbler than the Saturn, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, keep in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Aura's engine isn't much more massive than the Toyota Camry Hybrid's. Torque equals pickup, and the Saturn Aura will have picked up and gone by the time the Toyota Camry Hybrid finally gets moving. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Saturn Aura is significantly more powerful than the Toyota.

Utility
The Camry Hybrid and the Saturn can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
You will quite certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Saturn Aura than with the Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Saturn Aura offers a bit more head room than the Toyota Camry Hybrid, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Toyota Camry Hybrid is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the Saturn Aura.

Dimensions
The Aura's tank is approximately the same size as the Toyota Camry Hybrid's, though the Toyota Camry Hybrid's is somewhat larger. The Camry Hybrid and the Aura compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Saturn Aura to the dealership as the Toyota Camry Hybrid. The Saturn Aura will tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Toyota will. The Saturn Aura doesn't pale in comparison to the Camry Hybrid when it comes to fuel economy. The Saturn Aura isn't much less pricey than the Toyota Camry Hybrid in terms of MSRP.

Warranty
The Saturn and the Camry Hybrid have the same basic after-sale protection.
