In terms of horsepower, the Taurus packs quite a punch and will knock the Toyota down a few rungs. On the other hand, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Taurus is significantly heavier than the Toyota. The Toyota Camry Hybrid's tank is approximately the same size as the Ford Taurus's, though the Ford Taurus's is a bit larger. The Camry Hybrid and the Ford Taurus compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You will most certainly have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Ford Taurus than with the Toyota.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs almost the same to get the Toyota Camry Hybrid to the dealership as the Ford. Regarding gas mileage, the Toyota Camry Hybrid has the Ford Taurus beat. The Toyota Camry Hybrid is considerably less pricey than the Ford Taurus when it comes to MSRP. The Ford Taurus will cost you a bundle in gas every year compared to the Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Toyota is most certainly nimbler than the Ford Taurus, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

The Toyota Camry Hybrid's engine is significantly smaller than the Ford's.
