Neither the Camry nor the Nissan Altima has a marked advantage when it comes to seating capacity.

Dimensions
The Toyota Camry's tank is about the same size as the Nissan's, though the Altima's is a tad bigger. The Toyota and the Nissan Altima compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You definitely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Toyota than with the Altima, as both offer similar mileage ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Nissan Altima to the dealership as the Toyota Camry. In terms of fuel economy, the Nissan Altima is slightly better than the Toyota, but not by much. The Nissan Altima won't tax your gas budget significantly more than the Toyota Camry will. The Nissan Altima isn't much less expensive than the Camry as far as MSRP.

Drivetrain
The Toyota Camry has no lessons to learn in terms of pickup from the Nissan Altima. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan Altima isn't much more powerful than the Camry.

Comfort
Taller drivers will considerably enjoy the extra head room in the Altima's front cabin compared to the Toyota Camry. The Toyota Camry provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Nissan Altima does.
