The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs approximately the same to get the Lancer to the dealership as the Toyota Camry. There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Mitsubishi Lancer is slightly more economical than the Toyota Camry. In terms of fuel economy, the Mitsubishi Lancer and the Toyota Camry don't differ much. The Mitsubishi Lancer is significantly less expensive than the Toyota when it comes to MSRP.

Utility
Neither the Lancer nor the Toyota Camry has a marked advantage as far as seating capacity.

Convenience
The Mitsubishi Lancer's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Toyota Camry.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Mitsubishi Lancer offers a bit more head room than the Toyota, there really isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Toyota Camry make it significantly roomier for your passengers than the Mitsubishi Lancer.

Dimensions
The Toyota Camry is tremendously heavier than the Mitsubishi Lancer. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Toyota Camry than the Mitsubishi Lancer because of its larger tank. The Mitsubishi Lancer and the Camry compete for the same parking spaces.

Performance
As far as horsepower, the Toyota Camry packs quite a punch and will knock the Lancer down a few rungs. On the flip side, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Mitsubishi Lancer is definitely nimbler than the Toyota Camry, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, bear in mind that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Mitsubishi Lancer's engine is considerably smaller than the Toyota Camry's. Note that smaller engines can be stressed more; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque equals pickup, and the Toyota Camry will have picked up and gone by the time the Mitsubishi Lancer finally gets moving.

Warranty
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Toyota Camry isn't quite as generous as the Mitsubishi Lancer's.
