Toyota Avalon vs. Hyundai Azera Review

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Toyota and the Hyundai Azera most certainly handle almost the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Hyundai and the Toyota have similar-sized engines, with a slight advantage to the Toyota. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Toyota isn't much more powerful than the Hyundai Azera. The Azera has no lessons to learn regarding torque from the Toyota Avalon.

Utility
The Toyota Avalon and the Hyundai Azera can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
You'll most certainly take the Hyundai Azera for a fill-up about as often as the Toyota.

Comfort
Taller drivers will significantly enjoy the extra head room in the Hyundai Azera's front cabin compared to the Toyota Avalon. The Avalon provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Hyundai Azera does.

Dimensions
The Avalon's tank is roughly the same size as the Hyundai Azera's, though the Hyundai Azera's is slightly bigger. The Hyundai Azera and the Toyota compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Toyota Avalon to the dealership as the Hyundai Azera. The Hyundai Azera doesn't pale in comparison to the Toyota Avalon as far as fuel economy. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Avalon and the Avalon perform approximately comparably when it comes to gas mileage. Regarding MSRP, the Toyota Avalon costs roughly as much as the Azera (though the Azera is a little cheaper).

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Toyota Avalon isn't quite as generous as the Hyundai's.
