Toyota 4Runner vs. Nissan Pathfinder Review

The Nissan will definitely prove more practical than the Toyota for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Nissan Pathfinder outpulls the Toyota by a big margin.

Dimensions
The Nissan Pathfinder's tank is almost the same size as the 4Runner's, though the 4Runner's is a bit larger. The Toyota 4Runner and the Pathfinder compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Nissan Pathfinder's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Toyota.

Cost
The Nissan Pathfinder will tax your gas budget considerably more than the Toyota 4Runner will. Producing an accurate fuel economy evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though the Toyota 4Runner is the winner with respect to gas mileage. The Toyota isn't much more expensive than the Pathfinder as far as MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Toyota and the Nissan Pathfinder quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Nissan Pathfinder isn't much more powerful than the Toyota 4Runner.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Nissan Pathfinder offers a bit more head room than the Toyota 4Runner, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Toyota 4Runner is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the Nissan Pathfinder.
