Toyota 4Runner vs. Kia Borrego Review

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the Kia Borrego packs quite a wallop and will knock the Toyota 4Runner down a few rungs. On the other hand, bear in mind that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Kia Borrego and the Toyota 4Runner quite certainly handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The 4Runner's engine isn't much bigger than the Borrego's. The Toyota 4Runner has no lessons to learn with respect to pickup from the Kia Borrego.

Utility
The Kia Borrego will definitely prove more practical than the Toyota for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is significantly more the Kia Borrego's forte than it is the Toyota's.

Convenience
The Borrego's fuel tank will need to be replenished more often than the unit in the Toyota 4Runner.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Kia Borrego offers a bit more head room than the 4Runner, there honestly isn't much of a difference. The Kia provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Toyota does.

Dimensions
The Kia Borrego's tank is about the same size as the Toyota 4Runner's, though the Toyota 4Runner's is slightly larger. The Toyota 4Runner and the Kia Borrego compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Kia Borrego to the dealership as the Toyota 4Runner. Producing an accurate gas mileage evaluation is so tricky that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Toyota and the Toyota perform roughly comparably when it comes to fuel economy. As far as fuel economy, the Borrego and the Toyota don't differ much. The Kia Borrego isn't much less costly than the 4Runner as far as MSRP.

Overview
The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Toyota 4Runner isn't quite as generous as the Kia Borrego's.
