While the front cabin in the Suzuki XL7 offers a bit more head room than the Pontiac, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The Pontiac is not particularly more spacious for your passengers than the Suzuki XL7.

Dimensions
The Suzuki is substantially heavier than the Pontiac. The Suzuki XL7's tank is about the same size as the Pontiac Torrent's, though the Pontiac Torrent's is somewhat larger. The Pontiac Torrent and the Suzuki XL7 compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Torrent is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the XL7. When it comes to MSRP, the Suzuki XL7 doesn't cost much less than the Pontiac Torrent.
