Suzuki XL7 vs. Nissan Pathfinder Review

Utility
The Suzuki XL-7 is a better choice than the Nissan Pathfinder regarding transporting cargo, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of cargo or massive beasts. The Nissan Pathfinder will definitely prove friendlier than the XL-7 for those of you with frequent child-cargo. Towing is quite a bit more the Nissan Pathfinder's forte than it is the Suzuki XL-7's.

Dimensions
The Nissan Pathfinder is considerably more ponderous than the Suzuki XL-7. The XL-7's tank is roughly the same size as the Nissan Pathfinder's, though the Pathfinder's is a little larger. The Nissan Pathfinder and the Suzuki XL-7 compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
The Suzuki XL-7's fuel tank will need to be replenished a tad more often than the unit in the Nissan Pathfinder.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Suzuki XL-7 to the dealership as the Pathfinder. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Suzuki XL-7 is a tad more economical than the Nissan Pathfinder. The Nissan doesn't pale in comparison to the Suzuki XL-7 as far as gas mileage. The Suzuki isn't much less expensive than the Nissan with respect to MSRP.

Handling
The Nissan Pathfinder has considerably bigger tires than the Suzuki XL-7. Keep in mind that bigger tires can look and feel better, while smaller tires might improve gas mileage. With their comparable turning radii, the Nissan and the Suzuki most definitely handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Suzuki XL-7's engine is a little smaller than the Nissan Pathfinder's, but not terribly so.

Comfort
Taller drivers will quite a bit enjoy the extra head room in the Suzuki XL-7's front cabin compared to the Nissan Pathfinder. The Suzuki XL-7 provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Pathfinder does.
