Suzuki SX4 vs. Subaru Outback Review

Utility
The Subaru Outback is a better choice than the Suzuki SX4 with respect to hauling capacity, especially if you frequently need to carry a lot of luggage or big pets. Neither the Suzuki SX4 nor the Outback has a marked advantage with respect to seating capacity.

Dimensions
The Subaru Outback is considerably more ponderous than the Suzuki SX4. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the Subaru Outback than the SX4 because of its bigger tank. The Subaru Outback rides lower than the Suzuki SX4, which is a good thing for its center of gravity and ease of access. The Suzuki SX4 fits in smaller parking spaces than the Subaru. The Subaru's longer wheelbase will likely result in a smoother, more stable ride; however, the Suzuki SX4 may give a nimbler feel in daily traffic.

Convenience
You will doubtless have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Suzuki than with the Subaru Outback.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Suzuki SX4 to the dealership as the Subaru Outback. Producing a precise gas mileage evaluation is so hard that some think not even the federal government can do it, but it looks as though both the Suzuki SX4 and the Suzuki SX4 perform approximately comparably in terms of fuel economy. As far as MSRP, the Subaru Outback costs tremendously more than the Suzuki.

The Subaru and the SX4 have approximately similar tires.

Drivetrain
The Subaru Outback's engine is quite a bit bigger than the Suzuki SX4's. Note that more sizeable engines may use more gasoline than smaller ones. Torque equals pickup, and the Subaru will have picked up and gone by the time the SX4 finally gets moving. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Subaru is quite a bit more powerful than the SX4.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Suzuki SX4 offers a bit more head room than the Subaru Outback, there really isn't much of a difference. The Suzuki SX4 provides more head- and leg-room to your passengers than the Subaru Outback does.
