Suzuki SX4 vs. Pontiac G3 Review

When it comes to horsepower, the Suzuki packs quite a wallop and will knock the Pontiac down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With their similar turning circles, the Pontiac and the Suzuki likely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Pontiac G3's engine is significantly smaller than the SX4's. Keep in mind that a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder; on the other hand, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Suzuki SX4 is substantially more powerful than the Pontiac. The Pontiac G3 could learn a lesson or two from the Suzuki SX4 as far as torque.

Utility
The Suzuki SX4 and the Pontiac G3 can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
You will have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Suzuki SX4 than with the Pontiac G3.

While the front cabin in the Suzuki SX4 offers a bit more head room than the Pontiac G3, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the Suzuki provides a bit more head- and leg-room than the Pontiac G3, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the G3 to the dealership as the Suzuki SX4. In terms of fuel economy, the Pontiac G3 beats the Suzuki SX4. The Suzuki is substantially pricier than the Pontiac G3 when it comes to MSRP.
