Suzuki SX4 vs. Chevrolet Aveo Review

Performance
Regarding horsepower, the Suzuki SX4 packs quite a punch and will knock the Chevrolet down a few rungs. However, remember that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Handling
With its tighter turning circle, the Aveo is quite certainly sprier than the Suzuki SX4, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; however, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.

Drivetrain
The Chevrolet's engine is significantly smaller than the Suzuki's. Bear in mind that smaller engines can be stressed more; however, smaller engines typically get better gas mileage. The Suzuki SX4 packs quite a wallop compared to the Chevrolet Aveo regarding torque, which is the force that lets you accelerate quickly. Torque is roughly equivalent to acceleration, and in this respect, the Suzuki SX4 is significantly more powerful than the Chevrolet Aveo.

The Chevrolet Aveo and the Suzuki SX4 can accommodate the same number of passengers.

Convenience
You most certainly won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Chevrolet Aveo than with the Suzuki SX4, because both offer comparable ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Suzuki offers a bit more head room than the Aveo, there really isn't much of a difference. While the rear of the SX4 offers a bit more head- and leg-room than the Chevrolet Aveo, there frankly isn't much of a difference.

Dimensions
The Chevrolet Aveo's tank is about the same size as the Suzuki SX4's, though the Suzuki SX4's is a little bigger. The Suzuki SX4 and the Chevrolet Aveo compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Chevrolet Aveo to the dealership as the Suzuki SX4. There really isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Chevrolet Aveo is a little more economical than the Suzuki SX4. The Suzuki SX4 doesn't pale in comparison to the Chevrolet as far as fuel economy. In terms of MSRP, the Chevrolet Aveo costs significantly less than the SX4.
