Neither the Suzuki Grand Vitara nor the Saturn has a marked advantage in terms of seating capacity. Towing is considerably more the Saturn VUE's forte than it is the Suzuki Grand Vitara's.

Performance
With respect to horsepower, the Saturn VUE packs quite a wallop and will knock the Suzuki Grand Vitara down a few rungs. On the other hand, note that high horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Dimensions
The Suzuki Grand Vitara's tank is almost the same size as the Saturn VUE's, though the VUE's is a little bigger. The Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Saturn VUE compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll definitely take the Suzuki Grand Vitara for a fill-up almost as often as the VUE.

Regarding gas mileage, the Grand Vitara is a little better than the Saturn VUE, but not by much. When it comes to MSRP, the Saturn costs substantially more than the Grand Vitara.

Handling
With its tighter turning radius, the Grand Vitara is quite certainly sprier than the Saturn, something to consider if you do a lot of city driving; on the other hand, remember that a vehicle with a tight turning circle may feel a bit twitchy on the highway.
