The Mitsubishi will quite certainly prove more practical than the Suzuki Grand Vitara for those of you with frequent child-cargo. The Suzuki Grand Vitara outpulls the Mitsubishi Outlander by a big margin.

Dimensions
The Mitsubishi Outlander's tank is almost the same size as the Suzuki's, though the Suzuki Grand Vitara's is somewhat bigger. The Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Mitsubishi Outlander compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You likely won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Mitsubishi Outlander than with the Suzuki Grand Vitara, because both offer similar ranges.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs roughly the same to get the Mitsubishi Outlander to the dealership as the Suzuki Grand Vitara. There frankly isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Mitsubishi Outlander is somewhat more economical than the Suzuki. With their comparable turning circles, the Outlander and the Suzuki Grand Vitara definitely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

The Mitsubishi Outlander's engine is a bit smaller than the Suzuki Grand Vitara's, but not terribly so.

While the front cabin in the Mitsubishi Outlander offers a bit more head room than the Grand Vitara, there frankly isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Mitsubishi make it roomier for your passengers than the Suzuki.

The basic after-sale protection that comes with the Suzuki Grand Vitara isn't quite as generous as the Mitsubishi Outlander's.
