The Mazda Tribute's tank is about the same size as the Grand Vitara's, though the Grand Vitara's is a tad bigger. The Mazda Tribute and the Suzuki Grand Vitara compete for the same parking spaces.

Convenience
You'll likely take the Suzuki Grand Vitara for a fill-up about as often as the Mazda Tribute.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Mazda Tribute to the dealership as the Suzuki Grand Vitara. The Suzuki Grand Vitara will tax your gasoline budget considerably more than the Tribute will. The Suzuki Grand Vitara doesn't pale in comparison to the Mazda Tribute when it comes to fuel economy. Regarding MSRP, the Mazda costs about as much as the Suzuki Grand Vitara (though the Suzuki Grand Vitara is somewhat cheaper).
