Suzuki Equator vs. Mitsubishi Raider Review

Handling
With their comparable turning circles, the Suzuki Equator and the Mitsubishi Raider most certainly handle about the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The Mitsubishi Raider has a larger engine than the Suzuki Equator. Note that smaller engines typically get better gas mileage, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. Torque is the force that lets you accelerate quickly, and in this respect, the Raider is substantially more powerful than the Suzuki Equator. The Mitsubishi Raider packs quite a wallop compared to the Suzuki Equator when it comes to torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration.

Utility
The Mitsubishi Raider is a better choice than the Suzuki Equator as far as hauling capacity, especially if you often need to carry a lot of loot or massive dogs. Drivers with frequent kid-duty might favor the Mitsubishi Raider over the Suzuki Equator. Towing is considerably more the Suzuki Equator's forte than it is the Mitsubishi Raider's.

Convenience
You won't have to visit your friendly gas station more often with the Suzuki than with the Raider, as both offer comparable mileage ranges.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Suzuki Equator offers a bit more head room than the Raider, there really isn't much of a difference. The ampler interior dimensions of the Raider make it considerably more spacious for your passengers than the Suzuki Equator.

Dimensions
The Mitsubishi Raider is considerably more bulky than the Suzuki Equator. The Suzuki Equator's tank is roughly the same size as the Mitsubishi Raider's, though the Mitsubishi Raider's is a tad larger. The Suzuki and the Mitsubishi Raider compete for the same parking spaces.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. It costs about the same to get the Mitsubishi Raider to the dealership as the Suzuki Equator. The Equator isn't much less pricey than the Mitsubishi Raider in terms of MSRP.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Suzuki Equator isn't quite as generous as the Mitsubishi Raider's.
