New 2009 Scion tC

The 2009 Scion tC sport coupe didn’t make any drastic changes from its predecessor; however, the tC offers a plethora of standard features, a unique style and impressive fuel economy— all for under $20,000. 

The tC keeps the 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i)—translating into 161horsepower.  With all of that power, the tC boasts impressive fuel economy and low emissions.  Expect to get 20 MPG city and 27 MPG highway for the manual and 21/29 MPG city/highway for the automatic.  Not only does the tC get decent mileage, but it is a certified Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV).

The tC comes equipped with a panorama moonroof, which means that there are two moonroofs—one in the front and one in the back.  Both moonroofs cascade into the rear window giving an open-air feel.  Another impressive standard feature is the spacious interior.  In addition to the ample leg room is the cargo room—35.4 cubic feet of it!  Once the rear seats are folded down, the tC has almost as much cargo space as some small SUV’s.
