2009 Saturn Sky
Price Range: $27,595 - $33,680

Utility
The average convertible will most certainly prove more practical than the Saturn Sky for those of you with frequent child-cargo.

Dimensions
The average convertible is tremendously heavier than the Saturn Sky. Your wallet will hurt more every time you fill up the average convertible than the Saturn Sky because of its larger tank. The Saturn Sky and the average convertible compete for the same parking spaces. The Saturn Sky's shorter wheelbase will give a more agile feel in daily traffic. On the other hand, the average convertible is likely to have a smoother, more stable ride.

Convenience
You'll quite certainly have to take the Saturn Sky for a fill-up more often than the average convertible because of its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
The destination charge is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle from its point of origin to the dealer. The Saturn Sky is substantially cheaper to get to the dealership than the typical convertible. There isn't much of a difference in gas mileage here, but if you must know, the Saturn Sky is a bit more economical than the average convertible. The average convertible doesn't pale in comparison to the Sky with respect to gas mileage. The Saturn Sky is tremendously less costly than the average convertible with respect to MSRP.

Handling
With their similar turning radii, the Sky and the average convertible likely handle roughly the same into and out of tight spots.

Drivetrain
The average convertible has a bigger engine than the Sky. Note that smaller engines are often cheaper to fix, but a smaller engine usually has to work a little harder. The average convertible packs quite a wallop compared to the Saturn Sky when it comes to torque, which is roughly equivalent to acceleration. The Sky could learn a lesson or two from the average convertible with respect to torque.

Comfort
While the front cabin in the Sky offers a bit more head room than the typical convertible, there really isn't much of a difference.

Warranty
The basic warranty that comes with the Saturn Sky isn't quite as generous as the average convertible's.
