2013 smart fortwo vs. 2014 Nissan Cube Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Nissan Cube will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the smart fortwo.

Convenience
The Nissan Cube requires fewer visits to the gas station than the smart fortwo, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the smart fortwo is clearly a better financial choice over the Nissan Cube. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. In this case, the smart fortwo will cost less to deliver to the dealership than the Nissan Cube.

Dimensions
Since the smart fortwo is much slimmer than the Nissan Cube, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the smart fortwo, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Nissan Cube.

Drivetrain
The smart fortwo has much less torque than the Nissan Cube, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The smart fortwo has a significantly smaller turning radius than the Nissan Cube, allowing much better maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the smart fortwo is significantly less powerful than the Nissan Cube. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
Those who have to chauffeur around a lot of people should beware, the smart fortwo seats a lot fewer people than the Nissan Cube. The smart fortwo has significantly less cargo room than the Nissan Cube, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the smart fortwo than that of the Nissan Cube.
