2015 smart fortwo vs. 2016 Kia Forte Review

Comparison Review

As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the smart fortwo and the Kia Forte in the front seats.

With the Kia Forte you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the smart fortwo, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the smart fortwo is clearly a better financial choice over the Kia Forte. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The smart fortwo carries a much lower Destination Charge than the Kia Forte.

Since the smart fortwo is much slimmer than the Kia Forte, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the smart fortwo, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Kia Forte.

The smart fortwo has much less torque than the Kia Forte, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

The smart fortwo has a significantly smaller turning radius than the Kia Forte, allowing much better maneuverability in and out of tight spots.

When it comes to horsepower, the smart fortwo is significantly less powerful than the Kia Forte. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Those who have to chauffeur around a lot of people should beware, the smart fortwo seats a lot fewer people than the Kia Forte.

The basic warranty of the smart fortwo is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Kia Forte.
