The RAM 3500 offers just a little more head- and legroom than the RAM 1500, making it a little roomier and more comfortable.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the RAM 1500 will have less of an impact on your bank account than the RAM 3500. You'll be able to bring along a larger crew with the RAM 3500 than the RAM 1500, due to its significantly greater seating capacity. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of lumber or gardening supplies into the bed of the RAM 1500 as you will with the RAM 3500.

The RAM 1500 comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the RAM 3500.
