2013 MINI MINI-Hardtop vs. 2014 Ford Focus Review

Comparison Review

Comfort

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the MINI MINI-Hardtop as you will with the Ford Focus, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The MINI MINI-Hardtop is somewhat more expensive than the Ford Focus. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The MINI MINI-Hardtop and the Ford Focus have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the MINI MINI-Hardtop is much slimmer than the Ford Focus, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the MINI MINI-Hardtop, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Ford Focus.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the MINI MINI-Hardtop transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Ford Focus.

Utility
The MINI MINI-Hardtop has less seating than the Ford Focus, making the Ford Focus the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The MINI MINI-Hardtop has significantly less cargo room than the Ford Focus, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the MINI MINI-Hardtop than that of the Ford Focus.
