2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class vs. 2014 Toyota Sequoia Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Mercedes-Benz M-Class offers a bit more room for passengers in the back seat than the Toyota Sequoia. The Mercedes-Benz M-Class will be popular with taller drivers and passengers in the front seat, due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Toyota Sequoia.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Mercedes-Benz M-Class is somewhat more expensive than the Toyota Sequoia. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Mercedes-Benz M-Class and the Toyota Sequoia have similar Destination Charges.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the Mercedes-Benz M-Class doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Toyota Sequoia.

Handling
The Mercedes-Benz M-Class has a larger turning radius than the Toyota Sequoia, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
If you've got something you need to pull, the Mercedes-Benz M-Class will do just as well as the Toyota Sequoia, since they have about the same towing capacity. The Mercedes-Benz M-Class has a little less horsepower than the Toyota Sequoia.

Utility
Soccer Moms beware - the Mercedes-Benz M-Class seats a lot fewer people than the Toyota Sequoia. The Mercedes-Benz M-Class has significantly less cargo capacity than the Toyota Sequoia.
