2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class vs. 2016 Audi TT Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class than the Audi TT. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi TT in the front seats.

Convenience
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class will require fewer stops at the gas station than the Audi TT, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Mercedes-Benz E-Class will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Audi TT, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi TT have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is much slimmer than the Audi TT, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Audi TT.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Audi TT.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has a much more powerful engine than the Audi TT. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi TT. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class has less cargo capacity than the Audi TT, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Audi TT.
