2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class vs. 2014 Acura RLX Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Acura RLX than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Acura RLX in the front seats.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Acura RLX have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a little narrower than the Acura RLX, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is slightly shorter than the Acura RLX, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Acura RLX.
