2014 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class vs. 2013 Audi TT RS Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class than the Audi TT RS. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class and the Audi TT RS in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class as you will with the Audi TT RS, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Audi TT RS, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class and the Audi TT RS have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class is a little wider than the Audi TT RS, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. If you go with the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class, you may be circling the block looking for a space large enough to park more often than with the Audi TT RS.

Drivetrain
Due to its much higher torque, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class does a much better job of transmitting power to the wheels than the Audi TT RS.

Handling
The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class has a larger turning radius than the Audi TT RS, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class has a much more powerful engine than the Audi TT RS. However, something you should consider is that higher horsepower engines often command higher insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class and the Audi TT RS. The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class has significantly less cargo room than the Audi TT RS, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Mercedes-Benz CL-Class comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Audi TT RS.
