2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class vs. 2014 Acura TL Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class offers rear passengers about the same space to stretch out as the Acura TL with comparable rear head- and legroom in both vehicles. The Acura TL will be a favorite with taller drivers due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class as you will with the Acura TL, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is somewhat more expensive than the Acura TL. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Acura TL have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is much slimmer than the Acura TL, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Acura TL.

Drivetrain
With somewhat higher torque, the engine of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class transmits a bit more power to the wheels than the Acura TL.

Handling
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has a smaller turning radius than the Acura TL, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has less horsepower than the Acura TL, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Acura TL. You'll be able to fit about the same amount of groceries into the Mercedes-Benz C-Class as you will in the Acura TL.
