2016 Jaguar F-TYPE vs. 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Review

Comparison Review

As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Jaguar F-TYPE and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the front seats.

You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Jaguar F-TYPE as you will with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Jaguar F-TYPE will definitely make more of a dent in your wallet than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which has a much lower MSRP. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Jaguar F-TYPE will cost more in transportation costs than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

Since the Jaguar F-TYPE is much wider than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. If you go with the Jaguar F-TYPE, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

With its lower torque, the Jaguar F-TYPE doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The Jaguar F-TYPE has a larger turning radius than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, making it slightly more difficult to maneuver in and out of tight spots.

When it comes to horsepower, the Jaguar F-TYPE is somewhat more powerful than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

The Jaguar F-TYPE has less seating than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, making the Mercedes-Benz E-Class the better choice if you need to chauffeur many passengers. The Jaguar F-TYPE has significantly less cargo room than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Jaguar F-TYPE than that of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
