2013 Infiniti JX35 vs. 2014 Ford Flex Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Ford Flex than in the Infiniti JX35, due to its greater head- and legroom. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between front seat comfort in the Infiniti JX35 and the Ford Flex.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Infiniti JX35 as you will with the Ford Flex, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Infiniti JX35 is somewhat more expensive than the Ford Flex. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Destination Charge for the Infiniti JX35 is much higher than that for the Ford Flex.

Dimensions
The Infiniti JX35 is a little wider than the Ford Flex, so getting in and out of the car in a crowded parking lot may be a little more of a squeeze. The Infiniti JX35 is slightly shorter than the Ford Flex, which may make it easier to park.

Drivetrain
With similar torque, the Infiniti JX35 and the Ford Flex are about even in transmitting their respective horsepower to the wheels.

Handling
The Infiniti JX35 has a smaller turning radius than the Ford Flex, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When considering towing capacity, the Infiniti JX35 is clearly the choice over the Ford Flex for pulling heavy loads. The Infiniti JX35 has a little less horsepower than the Ford Flex.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the Infiniti JX35 and the Ford Flex. The Infiniti JX35 has less cargo space than the Ford Flex, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Infiniti JX35 than that of the Ford Flex.
