2013 Infiniti FX50 vs. 2015 GMC Yukon Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the backseat will be able to stretch out a lot more in the GMC Yukon than in the Infiniti FX50, due to its greater head- and legroom. The GMC Yukon will be a hit with tall drivers and their front seat passengers, since it has greater front head- and legroom than the Infiniti FX50.

Convenience
With the GMC Yukon, you will definitely be making fewer stops at the gas station than with the Infiniti FX50, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Infiniti FX50 is somewhat more expensive than the GMC Yukon. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the Infiniti FX50 and the GMC Yukon have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Infiniti FX50 is much slimmer than the GMC Yukon, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Infiniti FX50, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the GMC Yukon.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the Infiniti FX50 doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the GMC Yukon.

Handling
The Infiniti FX50 has a smaller turning radius than the GMC Yukon, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of towing capacity, the GMC Yukon is clearly the choice over the Infiniti FX50 for pulling heavy loads. The Infiniti FX50 has a little more horsepower than the GMC Yukon.

Utility
Soccer Moms beware - the Infiniti FX50 seats a lot fewer people than the GMC Yukon. The Infiniti FX50 has significantly less cargo capacity than the GMC Yukon.

Warranty
You'll have greater peace of mind with the more generous basic warranty of the Infiniti FX50 than that of the GMC Yukon.
