2015 Honda Fit vs. 2014 Scion xD Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Fit than the Scion xD. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Honda Fit and the Scion xD in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Honda Fit as you will with the Scion xD, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Honda Fit is somewhat more expensive than the Scion xD. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Honda Fit and the Scion xD have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
The Honda Fit is a little narrower than the Scion xD, so you'll have an easier time getting in and out of the car in a tight parking spot. For some people, bigger is better. If that's the case for you, then you'll be happier with the Honda Fit, which is slightly longer than the Scion xD.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Honda Fit doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Scion xD.

Handling
The Honda Fit has a smaller turning radius than the Scion xD, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
In terms of horsepower, it's basically a tie between the Honda Fit and the Scion xD.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Honda Fit and the Scion xD. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Honda Fit will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Scion xD.

Warranty
The Honda Fit comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Scion xD.
