2015 Honda Fit vs. 2015 Scion tC Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Fit than the Scion tC. As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Honda Fit and the Scion tC in the front seats.

Convenience
The Scion tC requires fewer visits to the gas station than the Honda Fit, making it more convenient to drive.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the Honda Fit will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Scion tC. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Honda Fit will cost more in transportation costs than the Scion tC.

Dimensions
Since the Honda Fit is much slimmer than the Scion tC, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Honda Fit, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Scion tC.

Drivetrain
The Honda Fit has much less torque than the Scion tC, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The Honda Fit has a smaller turning radius than the Scion tC, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Honda Fit is significantly less powerful than the Scion tC. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Honda Fit and the Scion tC. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Honda Fit will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Scion tC.

Warranty
The Honda Fit comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Scion tC.
