2013 Honda Fit vs. 2014 Ford Focus Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Due to its greater rear head- and legroom, backseat passengers will be able to stretch out a lot more in the Honda Fit than the Ford Focus. Offering just a little more front head- and legroom than the Ford Focus, the Honda Fit may be a little roomier and more comfortable for the driver and front seat passengers.

Convenience
With the Ford Focus you will definitely be making less frequent stops at the gas station than with the Honda Fit, due to its tank size and fuel economy.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Based on MSRP, the Honda Fit is clearly a better financial choice over the Ford Focus. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. In this case, the Honda Fit will cost less to deliver to the dealership than the Ford Focus.

Dimensions
Since the Honda Fit is much slimmer than the Ford Focus, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded parking lot. If you go with the Honda Fit, you'll have a much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with the Ford Focus.

Drivetrain
The Honda Fit has much less torque than the Ford Focus, which generally means that it won't feel as fast or powerful.

Handling
The Honda Fit has a smaller turning radius than the Ford Focus, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
When it comes to horsepower, the Honda Fit is significantly less powerful than the Ford Focus. The good news is that, reportedly, cars with lower horsepower engines often have lower insurance premiums.

Utility
In terms of seating you'll be able to fit the same number of people in both the Honda Fit and the Ford Focus. With its significantly greater cargo capacity, the Honda Fit will be able to haul more equipment or luggage than the Ford Focus.

Warranty
The Honda Fit comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Ford Focus.
