2016 Honda CR-Z vs. 2016 Honda Fit Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the Honda CR-Z and the Honda Fit in the front seats.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the Honda CR-Z as you will with the Honda Fit, as they get the same number of miles per tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). The Honda CR-Z is somewhat more expensive than the Honda Fit. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The Honda CR-Z and the Honda Fit have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the Honda CR-Z is much wider than the Honda Fit, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the Honda CR-Z takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Honda Fit.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque, the Honda CR-Z doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Honda Fit.

Handling
The Honda CR-Z has a smaller turning radius than the Honda Fit, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
The Honda CR-Z has less horsepower than the Honda Fit, so it will probably be somewhat slower.

Utility
Those who have to chauffeur around a lot of people should beware, the Honda CR-Z seats a lot fewer people than the Honda Fit. The Honda CR-Z has significantly less cargo room than the Honda Fit, which may be a concern if you do a lot of warehouse shopping.

Warranty
The Honda CR-Z comes with essentially the same basic warranty as the Honda Fit.
