2016 GMC Yukon vs. 2015 Lincoln Navigator Review

Comparison Review

Comfort
Passengers in the back seat may find themselves a little more cramped in the GMC Yukon than the Lincoln Navigator. The GMC Yukon will be popular with taller drivers and passengers in the front seat, due to its greater front head- and legroom than the Lincoln Navigator.

Convenience
You'll be making about the same number of stops at the gas station with the GMC Yukon as you will with the Lincoln Navigator, as they are both able to travel similar distances on a tank of gas.

Cost
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). When looking only at MSRP, the GMC Yukon will have less of an impact on your bank account than the Lincoln Navigator. Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. Both the GMC Yukon and the Lincoln Navigator have similar Destination Charges.

Dimensions
Since the GMC Yukon is much wider than the Lincoln Navigator, finding a wide enough spot in a parking lot may be a bit more challenging. When looking at overall length, the GMC Yukon takes up about the same amount of space in your garage as the Lincoln Navigator.

Drivetrain
With its lower torque engine, the GMC Yukon doesn't do as good a job transmitting power to its wheels as the Lincoln Navigator.

Handling
The GMC Yukon has a smaller turning radius than the Lincoln Navigator, allowing you to more easily maneuver in and out of tight spots.

Performance
With the Lincoln Navigator, you'll be able to pull heavier loads than with the GMC Yukon. The GMC Yukon has a little less horsepower than the Lincoln Navigator.

Utility
In terms of seating, you'll be able to fit about the same number of people in both the GMC Yukon and the Lincoln Navigator. The GMC Yukon has less cargo space than the Lincoln Navigator, which is okay if you don't need to move a lot in one trip.

Warranty
The basic warranty of the GMC Yukon is not as nearly as extensive as that of the Lincoln Navigator.
